The managerial competence of the Head of STKIP Gotong Royong Masohi in leadership encompasses the ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate organizational management effectively and efficiently. This competence plays a strategic role in ensuring the sustainability of higher education quality, particularly in regions with limited resources such as Central Maluku. This study aims to examine and analyze in depth how the Head of STKIP Gotong Royong Masohi implements managerial competence in leadership to enhance the quality of organizational resources. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. This approach was chosen to explore complex social phenomena within the context of higher education leadership and management. The findings reveal that the managerial competence of the Head of STKIP extends beyond administrative aspects, encompassing strategic, social, collaborative, and digital dimensions. Innovations in external collaboration, human resource development through advanced studies for lecturers, and efforts to strengthen internal monitoring systems are among the strategies implemented. Thus, the leadership demonstrated plays a crucial role in driving STKIP Gotong Royong Masohi toward sustainable quality improvement and institutional competitiveness.
