Implementation of the Principles of Islamic Propagation Management in the Development of the Morals of Students at the Al-Ihsan Labura Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the principles of da’wah management are implemented in the cultivation of akhlakul karimah among students at Pondok Pesantren Al‑Ihsan. A qualitative approach was used, employing observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the principles of da’wah management such as amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, balance between dunya and akhirat, akhlakul karimah, justice, consolidation, coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness have been applied through planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising moral development programs. The implementation of these principles has helped improve students’ discipline, politeness, responsibility, and tolerance. However, challenges remain, such as limited mentoring staff and the influence of external culture, indicating the need for a simpler, more structured, and sustainable da’wah management system.
