The Ar-Rahman Islamic Study Group's Da'wah Strategy in Strengthening Social Cohesion in Pematang Johar Village, Labuhan Deli District

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the da'wah strategy of the Ar-Rahman Taklim Assembly in strengthening social cohesion in Pematang Johar Village, Labuhan Deli District. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type to understand in depth the phenomena occurring in the field. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation involving administrators, members of the taklim assembly, and the surrounding community as informants. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the da'wah strategy implemented is not only through routine religious studies, but also through social and religious activities such as marhaban, commemoration of Isra Mi'raj, orphanages, assistance to the poor, women's empowerment, and distribution of takjil during the month of Ramadan. These activities are able to increase community participation, strengthen social relations, and foster values of togetherness, care, and solidarity in community life.
