PENGELOLAAN PERPUSTAKAAN DIPODRONO UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SISWA DIMTS DIPODRONO

The management of school libraries plays an important role in improving students’ literacy, particularly at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) level. Literacy is not only the ability to read but also the capacity to understand, process, and utilize information for self-development. This community service program aims to enhance the quality of students’ literacy through the optimization of library management at MTs Dipodrono. The method used is the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, consisting of the stages of discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny. The results of this program indicate that better-managed libraries including book classification, reading space arrangement, and structured literacy programs can increase students’ reading interest and literacy skills. The support of teachers, students, and the school environment plays a crucial role in the success of this program.
